We have now used Kempton & Self Plumbing on two different properties, and both experiences have been excellent.

The first project involved a major plumbing repair shortly after we purchased a home. They quickly diagnosed that the property had deteriorating clay sewer pipes, explained the problem clearly, and provided a prompt, detailed estimate. Throughout the process, their communication was outstanding. When I suggested an alternative approach that I thought might accomplish the same goal, they listened with an open mind and immediately evaluated it. They weren’t interested in upselling or nickel-and-diming us—they were focused on finding the best solution. The work was completed professionally, on schedule, and exactly as promised.

More recently, we had a plumbing emergency at one of our rental properties over the weekend involving an aging cast-iron drain line. Mike from Kempton & Self responded quickly, got the drain flowing again, carefully explained what was happening, and helped us understand the likely long-term repair that would be needed. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very straightforward.

One thing that really stood out was when Mike mentioned how much he enjoys working for Kempton & Self and how much he appreciates his boss. Hearing that from an employee says a lot about the company and its culture.
